About me
Hello there!
I’m Leonardo Wurzler Silveira. I was born and raised in Brazil, but my background spans across borders.
Having lived in Canada during my youth and later working in South Dakota, I’ve developed a cross-cultural perspective that deeply influences my clinical practice.
This outsider’s lens allows me to understand the unique pressures of North American culture without being blinded by them.
I am a licensed psychologist with a postgraduate specialization in Psychoanalytic Clinic.
Early in my clinical training, my supervisors often trusted me with the most complex and demanding cases. They recognized my capacity to sit with heavy emotional weight—to truly hold the therapeutic space for a patient's suffering without rushing to superficial fixes.
This ability to sustain the process, even when it gets incredibly difficult, is the foundation of my practice.
